This scholarship is given to those High School Seniors who have demonstrated the TRUST 100 FIVE-STAR ideals of Independence, Integrity, Excellence, Fairness and Professionalism. 2012-01-16 - DeJohn Funeral Homes and Crematory is sponsoring another Veterans and Family Memorial Care Program - Operation Valentine. Like the stockings for soldiers, we will be collecting homemade Valentines to send to men and women serving our country overseas. We are inviting area schools to participate by writing messages to the troops on Valentine Cards, Cut-Out Hearts, or whatever they like and we will make sure that they are delivered to our brave men and women serving overseas. Cards cannot include glitter, food or candy, but there are still many ways to personalize a handmade card. Write a message on them and say “Thank You”, tell them about yourself (use first name only) and wish them a Happy Valentine's Day! Our troops are away from their loved ones and friends so they really want to know that people back home appreciate them. This is a real moral boost for the men and women who are serving our country. This is a great class project or would be perfect for art class. We sincerely hope you will join us in honoring our brave men and women who work hard in giving us the freedom we all enjoy.

2011-12-19 - Every third Thursday of the month, please join us as Patty DeJohn, Grief Specialist here at DeJohn~Flynn~Mylott Funeral Homes, conducts our Pet Loss Bereavement Group, a supportive evening for those who have lost a special member of the family. This group is a collaborative effort brought to you by DeJohn Pet Services and Animal Hospital, Inc.. Gather with us at the Animal Hospital,Inc. 2735 SOM Center Road (at the corner of Route 6 and SOM Center Road), Willoughby Hills, Ohio. Our meeting times are 6:30-8:00 PM and all are welcome.
