
ADELINE R. FRANIA (nee Muchewicz) age 90; beloved wife of the late Mitchell M.; loving mother of Francine Lynn (husband Wilmer, deceased), Mitchell (wife Sandy), Rev. Mr. Gregory (wife Kathleen), Celestine Brajer (husband Robert), and the late Timothy (wife Sheila) and Christine Renick (husband Joseph, deceased); devoted grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 14; preceded in death by four siblings.Mrs. Frania died peacefully on Friday Feb. 24 at Holly Hill. Born in Cleveland, she was a long time resident of Chardon.
Adeline and her late husband owned and operated the Anchor Inn in Madison as well as the Sugar Bush in Chardon for many years. She was a member of the Polish Alumni Club at St. Casimirs, the Legion of Mary, and was a longtime member of St. Helen Church and previously St. Mary Church. Adeline loved being with her family. She was a woman with great patience and also a wonderful sense of humor.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Adeline’s memory to St. Helen Church Building Fund, 12060 Kinsman Rd., Newbury, Ohio 44065-9678. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at St. Helen Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Adeline at RITONDARO FUNERAL HOME OF CHARDON 126 SOUTH ST (State Route 44, south of Route 6/Chardon Square), on SUNDAY from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
