Her Catholic faith was her foundation. It was the source of her happy and joy-filled life. Alberta loved living and frequently said ” You know, I think God really loves me!” She participated in many programs at her parish, Church of St. Mary. Alberta was one of the original members of the Bible Study group, served as a senior altar server, and was a children’s liturgist.
Her love of life was often expressed in her love of dancing! She was the life of the party and enjoyed every minute with family and friends. Her free spirit was contagious and brought smiles to anyone in her company. She also enjoyed her time as a member of the Slovak Jedonata.
Alberta also loved the outdoors. She was very fond of animals. She especially loved taking her dog, Peppy, for long walks.
Alberta worked in the accounting department for TRW for over 25 years, retiring in 1994. She continued her career working part-time as a secretary at Heather Hill.
