ALICE M. SHELBY age 89 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family; beloved daughter of the late James J. and Alice L. (nee O’Brien) Shelby; dearest sister of James E., and the late William, Margaret Wilson and John J. Shelby and sister-in-law of Joanne Shelby; cherished loving aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt of many; longtime friend of Marsha Boothe.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10 AM at St Mary Catholic Church 242 N. State St Painesville. Burial following at Riverside Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Alice at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM.

My dearest Aunt, I just want to say thank you for giving myself and my family 1.5 yrs of joy you will be missed more then you think. I am not sure where my life is going to go now but rest asure you and my mother will always be in my heart. you have weaved so many of yourself into me and my kids I believe everything happens for a reason and you were a fantastic reason to come live with us to teach us its ok to let go. I love you and already miss you bunches!!!!!
