
ANA LEBEN (nee Vugrinec) age 75, beloved life partner of 5 years of Carl Lee; loving mother of Natalie Wisnieski (husband David), Joe and Tony Gjerek and step-mother of Shawn, Brian and Aaron Leben; devoted grandmother of Brittany, Victoria and Caitlin Wisnieski, Jay (JJ), Katryna, Beverliana, Joey-Melinda, and Jessa Gjerek, Jena and Monica Gjerek and great-grandmother of David Wallie; cherished daughter of Matija and Elizabeth (nee Lebar) Vugrinec; dearest sister of Elizabeth, Ivan, Joe, Marica, Theresa and the late Steffen, Matt and Mary; dear aunt and great-aunt of many and her treasured pet Lacy.
Ana was born in Slovenia in 1947 and moved to Ohio at the age of 19. She was a member of St. Mary – Collinwood and the Styrishki Club for 45 years. Ana had a passion for baking and cooking and owned/operated Slovenian Village in Cleveland and Annie’s Restaurant in Chesterland for many years. She very much enjoyed gardening, especially with her grandchildren, and dancing to Polka. Many would say how Ana was outgoing and loving, with a heart of gold and she believed in giving to those in need. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Collinwood, 15519 Holmes Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110 at 10 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ana at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 4 – 8 PM.
