Condolences for the family of “Anna May Pollock”

Condolence from Susan Vokoun on March 2nd, 2018 3:17 pm

Proving what a small world it is, when I got to know Anna Mae, I discovered that her mother had been the Sunday School Superintendent at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in East Cleveland where I attended growing up. Both being nurses at Geauga hospital gave us more in common. And we both sat in the back pew at church. I truly enjoyed time spent with her. Her friends will sadly miss her.

Condolence from Pamela Thrasher on March 7th, 2018 9:48 pm

Anna Mae was my crutch, my shoulder to cry on, when I had problems in nursing school. She’d laugh and tell me “I’ve done worse, and I’m still working” when I would call with my problem! I was thrilled when she invited me to stay with her after Mom sold the house. I visited her when I was in Chardon, but never stayed with her. I thank God that she had such a long and worthwhile life, and I will truly miss her.
