ANNE P. SALEMI, age 94; beloved wife for 55 years of Peter A. (deceased), loving mother of Steven L. (Jean) and Diane N. Scott (Mike); devoted grandmother of Nicholas (Elizabeth), Tristan and Darian Salemi, Amanda and Austin Quinlivan; cherished daughter of the late Cuono and Mary Pannella; dearest sister of Mary Buttress (Joseph, deceased), Clement Pannella (Ginny) and the late Rita Melaragno (Ernest), and Robert Pannella (Jeanne); dear aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.
Anne attended the Grandview school system in Columbus and attended art school in Cincinnati. She began her career at Cussins and Fearn in Columbus. She moved to Cleveland and worked for Halle Brothers Department Store before having children. Eventually, she went back to work as an advertising artist for Name Brand Furniture. Anne also used her artistic talents to start small businesses Campus Cakes, where she baked and decorated personalized birthday cakes, and Fancy Feet, offering custom-painted sneakers, both of which catered to local college students.
Anne was active in the community as a 45-year member of the Hillcrest Art Guild, an organization of artists who wished to continue their artistic talents, passion and skills. She volunteered at Ridgebury Elementary School creating bulletin board displays for the library. Anne was also a longtime parishioner at St. Clare Catholic Church. Anne lived a long and happy life. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a good citizen, and a woman of integrity, strong faith, love and kindness.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Anne on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 from 10 – 11 AM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD.
