BARBARA ANN HORNYAK, aged 85 years, beloved daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (nee Hovan), dearest sister of John and the late Edward, loving aunt of Cathleen Breeler, Karin Shearer, and Edward, Stephen, Paul, Joseph, John, Thomas and Matthew Hornyak, cherished great-aunt.
Barbara attended St. Joseph Elementary School (Collinwood), Sacred Heart Academy and was a graduate of Ursuline College. She was a dietician for many years at Polyclinic and St. Alexis Hospitals. She was a devout Catholic and her life centered around her church and family.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at 10:30 AM.
Private burial in Calvary Cemetery.

“Thy will be done” were Barb’s last words to me when I spoke to her on the phone. I will always remember the singles dances where she taught me to do the Hungarian Czardas dance. I will always remember her as the head dietician who knew how to serve great, healthy food.
