Barbara Jean Orlandi (nee Morris), 82, of Mayfield Heights, Ohio passed away on August 30, 2022 following an extended battle with lung cancer and other illnesses.

Barb spent years volunteering with the Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity – Our Lady of Lourdes, in Euclid.
She was a Lay Eucharistic Minister at St. Clare Church in Lyndhurst, and was a member of the Isabella Guild, a charitable female volunteer auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Gilmour Council 310.
Professionally, Barb worked on staff for many years as an office administrator within the Mayfield City School system.

Julie and family, I’m so saddened to learn of your Mom’s passing. I knew Barb through the Ursuline Community. She was a wonderful addition to the Companions of Marie meetings. A very humble and gracious being. Condolences.

Mom I miss you so much already! I know you are finally feeling better and no longer suffering so that makes me happy. You were sad you missed the summer while you were sick, but I think you will have sunshine forever now. Give Dad a big hug for me. Love You Forever!

It was my honor to be one of the people that had the pleasure to care for Barb. There are no words that can accurately describe what she meant to me. I am truly a better person for having had the pleasure of knowing her. The Orlandi family is truly an example of what family is supposed to be. Thank you guys for trusting us with your most precious gift. She meant the world to you guys and you meant the world to her. I will truly miss her forever. At Cedar Living, Barb always made a point of saying hello to my dad, Ed Swick. I know they had many thoughtful conversations within the last year. She looked out for him and made sure he had his cups and his food was cut properly. She was in charge there!! I thank God daily for the staff at CL, I know they provided a quality of life for our parents until the very end.
Sincere condolences from our family to yours.
