BETTY D. SCHNELL (nee Bokan) age 89; beloved wife of the late Jack; loving mother of Nick and Patti Schnell-DeRose (husband Ron); devoted grandmother of Matthew Wilson (wife Michele) Nicole Wilson, Samantha and Erika Schnell and great-grandmother of Madeline, Matthew, Jr, Miley Wilson and Sydney Schnell; cherished sister of the late Mike Bokan (wife Betty); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Betty was a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. She was a resident of Willoughby Hills after moving from Willoughby four years ago. A graduate of East High, Betty was a devoted homemaker who valued her family above all else. She loved playing cards, entertaining, traveling and listening to Jerry Vale, Engelbert Humperdinck and Frank Sinatra. A fun-loving perfectionist, she was also a wonderful cook. Many will remember her jokes and great sense of humor.
Prayers of Christian Burial Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11 AM, at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Betty at the FUNERAL HOME FRIDAY 2-4 and 5-8 PM.
