Condolences for the family of “Betty Witkowski”

Condolence from Emily (Schmidt) Nesheim on November 29th, 2016 4:54 pm

“At the end of the day people won’t remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.”
-Maya Angelou
When I think of Great Aunt Betty I feel happy, remembering her warmth, smile, laughter, good natured humor, kindness. She looked like my Grandma Adele Schmidt, her sister, and passed along to me grandma’s unforgettable steak-on-a-stick recipe. It is such a sad loss for all of us. But the feelings of goodness and love live on in all of us, and I’m so thankful for that.
