
CHARLES R. FROELICH age 89, beloved husband for 35 years of Theresa (nee Sumen); loving father of Charles Jr. (wife Shari), Karen Toth (husband Michael), and Angela Percassi (nee Velotta) (husband Peter); devoted grandfather of Mia, Nicholas, Dylan, Emma, and Leah; dearest brother of the late Robert Froelich and Margaret Cavolo; dear uncle, great-uncle, and friend of many.
Chuck was born on July 12, 1927 in Cleveland and passed away on December 29, 2016. He was a resident of Euclid for 35 years, formerly of Chardon. Chuck was a member of VFW Post #7754 Fairport Harbor, FOP, and a WWII and Korean Conflict U.S. Army and Navy Veteran. He graduated from East Tech High School and was a police officer and detective in Cleveland Heights. Chuck loved fishing, golfing and was an avid reader. He enjoyed playing softball, racquetball and tennis. Chuck will be remembered as a gentle, strong, funny and witty man who had a great sense of humor. He loved his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Chuck loved the Lord and his church. He will be greatly missed.
