
CHARLOTTE CORNELIUS (nee Durst) age 77, beloved wife for 32 years of Raymond and the late Eugene Winters; loving mother of Terry Winters; step- mother of Cliff (wife Joanne) and Jim Cornelius; devoted grandmother of Gene Winters (wife Kristen); step-grandmother of Christopher, Elizabeth and Stephanie (husband Jon) Sevastos and great-grandmother of Morgan and Payton Winters; cherished daughter of the late Russell and Elsie (nee Boyer) Durst; dearest sister of Jack Durst (wife Marilyn) and the late Beulah Kaucic and Frank and James Durst; dear friend of Marge Vencl and Elizabeth Kenczler; loving aunt, great-aunt and godmother to many.
Charlotte had a very loving and generous heart. She was a woman of great faith and was deeply devoted to her family. Her many talents included cooking and baking wonderful meals, needlepoint and loop hook rugs, growing beautiful flowers and keeping a comfortable, beautiful home. She and her husband, Ray, enjoyed many trips across the U.S., but were always happy to come home.
Contributions may be made in memory of Charlotte to Midland Grace United Methodist Church in Midland, MD or to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Hill, PA.
Graveside Service SATURDAY, January 6, 2018 at 10 AM at All Souls Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Charlotte at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) FRIDAY 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

Aunt Charlotte was such a huge part of my life….the many morning calls on my way to work will be sorely missed…I owe her so much for all she did for me……transitioning to her home in Glory should be very easy for her as she was certainly my angel on earth…..sure love her….
