CLYDE M. McGILL age 97, beloved husband for nearly 73 years of Shirley (nee Rosenberger); loving father of Ronnie (wife Nancy) and Bruce (wife Sue); devoted grandfather of Adria Fisher (husband Matt), Lindsay Mcgill, Dana Schlauch (husband Jerrod), Steven McGill, Natalie Pajak (husband Dani), Ryan McGill (wife Ashley), and Nick McGill and great grandfather of 10; cherished son of the late Clyde S. and Gladys E. (nee Saint); dear brother of the late Ralph McGill (wife LaVerne).
Clyde was born on October 10, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on June 30, 2023, surrounded by family. Clyde was a proud United States Army Veteran, having served in the Battle of the Bulge during WWII.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Clyde to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Clyde at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 4-8 PM.
A private burial with Military Honors will be held at Knollwood Cemetery.
