DAWN J. GOBIDAS (nee Knop) age 67, beloved life-long partner and best-friend of Barry; loving mother of Donald Silvia (wife Mary), Joseph Gobidas (wife Amber), and Jessica Jones (husband Patrick); devoted grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 1; she is survived by siblings from the Deluia and Knop families.
Dawn was born April 19, 1955 in Ashtabula to Michael and Nancy Deluia. As an infant she was lovingly adopted by Walter and Helen Knop. Dawn attended West Geauga High School and Kent State University. She was a very spiritual person who enjoyed listening to live music, playing cards, and working in the garden. Dawn loved being with her grandchildren and having family surrounding her.
Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dawn at THE DeJOHN Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) WEDNESDAY 4-7 PM.
