DOROTHY BALINSKI (nee Molle) age 98, loving and devoted wife of the late Chester for 67 years; dear aunt and great aunt of many; cherished daughter of the late John and Kristina (nee Breznikar) Molle; dearest sister of the late Alice, Marie, John, Jean, William, Eugene, Joseph and Robert.
Dorothy was born on May 26, 1923 in Cleveland and passed away on May 27, 2021. Dorothy had a strong work ethic that showed during the 20 years she worked at General Electric and during the additional 20 years at J.C. Penny where she was a furniture sales associate. During the years she worked at General Electric, she met most of her friends that stayed with her through the monumental moments in her life. Having lived through many of the world’s most prominent moments, Dorothy maintained a steady presence amongst her friends and family. She never let the ups and downs around her change the love and dedication she extended to those around her. She was dependable, hardworking, a friend to all, part of the greatest generation and devoted to the ones she loved.
Her optimism shined just as her smile did, and twice a year, her family could expect to escape to Florida to enjoy the sun. Dorothy’s light always shined, as did her heart. With a heart of a servant, Dorothy put others before her, and with the loss of such a great servant, her family and friends can pick up the mantle that Dorothy had to put down when she entered into eternal life.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dorothy Saturday, May 29, 2021 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 5384 Wilson Mills Rd, Highland Heights, OH 44143, at 9:45-10:15 AM.
