DOROTHY HOENIGMAN (nee Krupka), born Oct. 4, 1922, entered into rest Oct. 26, 2014, beloved wife of the late Carl, dear mother of Susan (Mike) Castor, Thomas (Renee) and John “JC” (Victoria), loving grandmother of Scott Castor, Lori Combs, Jean Spice, Joel Hoenigman (deceased), Annalee and Elizabeth Hoenigman. She also leaves to cherish her memory five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dorothy was a 70 year resident of Mayfield Heights after moving from Cleveland Heights. She was a founding member of St. Clare Catholic Church, a volunteer for Hope House and a poll worker and judge at elections. Dorothy was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing Bridge and swimming. She especially loved celebrating Easter in the true German tradition.
There will be no wake per Dorothy’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 5659 Mayfield Rd., Lyndhurst, at 10:30 AM.
Burial following in All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
