In a recent industry advisory board meeting for Electrical engineering department, Cleveland State University, we talked a lot about George and his devotion in education. Everyone agreed that he never compromised the quality of education with high standard and yet has been loved most by students.
We are deeply saddened by the news of Dr.George Kramerich’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

George’s passing is the end of era. He was the Department Chair who hired me as an assistant professor at CSU in 1999. He was a great friend, teacher, and mentor. He was universally respected by students, staff, and faculty. He left a tremendous legacy at CSU. His positive impact will continue for many, many years to come.

George Kramerich was a bit of a legend a Cleveland State University. When I was an Undergrad, I never had him for a class, but I did go to his Electronics Tutoring sessions once or twice. He was an excellent teacher! He had commanding presence that elicited both fear and respect from his students. He offered me an internship for my Masters, He withdrew his offer when he found out I had a “better offer” from Dr. Goradia, pushing me to take it. Although I didn’t know it at the time, he did me a HUGE favor. I will always be grateful to Dr. Kramerich for that! I know many students felt that Dr. Kramerich always had their best interest as heart. His impact is still being felt. May God Bless you George Kramerich.

I know that this is a very late condolence, but I was just telling some people in the office about a great and memorable teacher that I had once upon a time, that his name was Dr. Kramerich, and that I will never forget him. He was my electronics professor at CSU in 1984-1985. He was brilliant and he had a knack for teaching like no other. Not only that, but as stated by another above, he had a commanding presence, and he elicited both fear and respect. Throughout the years after I left CSU, I always remembered him as a rare breed and as someone who had a tremendously positive impact upon me at a time when I really needed it. And he never knew it. Then, I saw him in Costco in Mayfield Heights several years ago, after having not seen him in like 25 years. I immediately recognized him. I introduced myself and reminisced for a few moments. I’m sure it was obvious to him that I held him at the very highest level of esteem. I spent a lot of time in school and always enjoyed learning. He was by far the greatest professor/teacher that I ever had. He had a great gift. His indelible memory is what led me here today. Please accept my condolences.
