Dear John and family of Elaine,
Elaine and I were best friends and sidekicks in grade 6 and part of grade 7. We had a lot of freedom and had a lot of fun! Beautiful Elaine was a good friend. We parted ways, as teenagers do, forming different friend groups, but I always hoped to see her again and enjoy memories. Alas. I’m sad about her passing. I hope this note adds to the celebration of her life. I wish we had stayed in touch!
