
ELDINA M. AMBROGIO (nee DiFranco), age 94; beloved wife for 67 years of the late William J.; loving mother of William (wife Patricia), Thomas (wife Michele) and Ronald (wife Josie); devoted grandmother of Nicholas (wife Amanda), Lisa Andreani (husband John), Matthew, Erin Ambrogio-Lennon, Michael, Stephanie and Bill (fiancée Maria Gallina) and great-grandmother of 7; treasured daughter of the late Domenico and Filomena DiFranco; dearest sister of the late Violet Politi (husband Anthony, deceased), Raymond DiFranco (wife Clare), Eugene DiFranco (wife Jane) and Gilda DiFranco; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Eldina was born on July 12, 1923 in Cleveland and passed away on August 26, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Highland Heights for 35 years, formerly of Mayfield Heights. Eldina was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church for 65 years where she participated in perpetual adoration. She was a volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, a member of Highland Heights 50+ club and St. Anthony Women’s Society of Holy Rosary Church. Eldina graduated from Villa Angela High School and was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Eldina was a seamstress and loved making doll clothes. She will be remembered most as a woman of strong faith and devotion to Our Lady. Eldina loved her family, was outgoing, very strong and very caring. She will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Eldina at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
