Dear Chip & Charlene,
We were very sadden to hear about the passing of your mother. My father, Richard Carpenter, and Eleanor Badger were first cousins. Eleanor and Loretta attended his funeral two years ago. It had been along time, since we had seen them and it was a nice reunion.
I remember when my grandparents, Grover and Vera Carpenter, lived in South Euclid and my father would take us to visit them. While there we would visit your grandmother Patterson. That was years ago, but it still brings back memories of the good times we enjoyed.
At times I would stop by and visit Eleanor at her home in Kirtland. She was always nice and very cordial.
