
ELLA F. “Ellie” (ALVIDREZ) DOLJACK (nee Burgin) age 85, beloved wife for 47 years of Joseph; loving mother of Terri Pressly (husband Donald), Dainan Alvidrez (former wife Kelly Ann Basoco) and Mace Alvidrez; devoted grandmother of Dainan McNeil, Jeffrey Alvidrez, Samantha and Ashley Pressly; and great-grandmother; dearest sister of James Burgin (wife Ethel deceased), Ruby Burgin, and the late Bill Burgin (wife Vakle), Wilbur (wife Sue Ann), Robert, Charles (wife Dolly), Joseph, Maryann and Sarah Burgin ; sister-in-law of Frank Doljack (wife Sharon), Linda and the late Matthew Plecnik and the late Mary Lou Doljack George; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Ella was born on August 9, 1936 and died peacefully on October 26, 2021. She was born in Jeffersontown Kentucky in a sharecropper’s cabin. She grew up in an orphanage, an experience that shaped her into a giving person who extended kindness to all. Although she and Joe married 47 years ago, they have been together for 56 years. They lived in Mentor for the last 29 years and resided in Willowick prior to that.
She worked as an assembler for Libra Industries. She enjoyed traveling the world “cruising” with Joe and wintering in Florida. Ella also enjoyed old county music.
Ella was a considerate woman who was dedicated to her family. She never met a stranger.
She will be missed by all.

Prayers of Christian Burial Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 10AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ella at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
