ELOISE A. FINAZZO (nee Cirino), aged 88 years, beloved wife for 65 years to Martin J., dearest mother of James (wife Nancy), Michael (wife Terri), Rosanne Wright (husband John), Mark (wife Diana) and Christopher (wife Sandy), loving grandmother of Emily, Alyssa and Michael Finazzo Jr., Carli Miller (husband Ben), Jennifer and Jonathan (wife Chelsey) Wright, Halle Martin (husband Mike) and Marisa and Nicolette Finazzo, cherished great-grandmother of Carter, Trevor and Brayden, devoted daughter of the late Patrick and Jesse (nee Delsanter) Cirino, treasured sister of Annamarie Ferrato (husband Blaise) (both deceased) and Patrick Cirino (deceased) (wife Sue), fond aunt, great-aunt and cousin to many.
Eloise was born in Cleveland on April 9, 1934 and passed away at her home in Richmond Heights, surrounded by loved ones, on March 13, 2023.
She married the love of her life, Marty, in 1957. They went on to spend over 65 wonderful years together, displaying an unwavering devotion to one another through both sickness and health.
She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1952. She continued her education, graduating with her diploma in nursing from Saint Vincent Charity Hospital in 1955 before going on to work there as a nurse for 40 years.
To say Eloise was family oriented would be an understatement. She had a servant’s heart, with unending generosity and kindness for everyone. She was an avid church goer, devout catholic, and member of St. Paschal Baylon church for 55 years.
Eloise enjoyed hosting parties and cooking; she made sure no one EVER left her house hungry. She was especially known for her chicken, cheesecake, and cavatelli with meatballs. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, watching game shows and the Food Network, staying active by walking the mall, singing Johnny Mathis whilst dancing along, and above all, eating her ice cream. She was a devoted grandma who attended every school function and sporting event that she could.
Although Eloise suffered from a life-altering brain injury in 2012, she never lost the support of the loved ones around her. Despite her struggles, she continued on for over a decade with the 24/7 loving care of her husband and children. She continued making wonderful memories with her family while living at home until the day she passed.
Eloise will be fondly remembered for her humble heart, devotion to the Lord, generosity to those around her, goofy sense of humor, and abiding loyalty to her friends and family.

My Dear Aunt Eloise! Oh, how I wish I could be there with the whole family, Finazzo’s and Cirino’s, this weekend.
I will certainly be with you all in spirit.
My own spirit finds some small comfort in knowing that Eloise, Patrick, and my mother, Annamarie, are together again—the Terrific Trio laughing, dancing, and eating cavatelli and meatballs with their loving parents once again.
With Peace, Love, and Great Big Hugs,
Tina Ferrato❤️❤️
