  2. I’ll always remember the times we had on Wednesdays when we were quilting.Enjoying knowing her and her husband

  3. To the family of Evelyn Rode – I would have attended the service if I had known about it in time. Evelyn was a wonderful person. I always liked her as I did also her husband, Bud. What wonderful people they were. Explanation: I knew them from Grace Church.
There is no good time to lose a parent. My concern and sympathy to all of you.

  4. Dear Bud and family,
I was saddened to read just now of Evelyn’ s death. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
Evelyn was always a shining light of joy, even when her physical problems began to multiply. I remember visiting her when I was Grace’s Parish nurse. She took me to her well-equipped sewing room and showed me her many creative projects. Together you were models of what a good marriage could – and should – be: faith in God, faith in each other, and a life of mutual love, support, and respect.
From my own recent loss of Jack, I know that her loss will forever leave an unfillable hole in your heart. May your faith in our risen Lord sustain, comfort, and eventually give you peace.
