
Frank “Pete” Charles Yehl Jr. of Chardon, passed away on January 14th, 2023. Born on January 29th, 1942, in Akron OH, to the late Patrea Frame and Frank Yehl. He graduated Cleveland Heights High School in 1962 and moved to Chardon in 1964. Pete married Carol Bayless and had 3 surviving sons, Frank, Brett, and Lance. He has 7 grandchildren, Harmony (CO), Sarah (OH), Jessica (OH), Brett (CO), Sam (OH), Alex (JP), Dylan (CO), and great grandchild, Adalynn (OH).
Pete enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, and barbecuing on his patio, with family. Pete was then married to Tamara (nee Brcak) later in life and enjoyed traveling. Pete was the owner of the Sohio gas station in Clairdon in the early 70’s, then went on to work for Matlack and Manfredi Trucking companies. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Celebration of Life will be held at the Heritage House located at 111 E. Park St., Chardon 44024 on Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 3pm-7pm. Cremation by DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME OF CHARDON.
