I WAS SO GRATEFUL TO BE ABLE TO SPEND TIME WITH AUNT GEN THE AFTERNOON BEFORE SHE DIED. I GOT TO PRAY OVER HER, AND BLESS HER, AND KISS HER MANY, MANY TIMES, AND TELL HER HOW MUCH I LOVED HER. I WHISPERED IN HER EAR AND THANKED HER FOR BEING LIKE “A SECOND MOM” TO ME. I PRAYED SHE HEARD ME. I HOPED SHE KNEW. A SPECIAL LADY, A GOOD DAUGHTER, A GOOD SISTER, A GOOD WIFE, A LOVING MOTHER AND “SITHU”, A GREAT AUNT, A WONDERFUL AND GOOD FRIEND TO SO MANY OF US! SHE WILL BE TRULY MISSED…I LOVE YOU AUNT GEN…MICHELE (SHELLY) (MORAD) RAMBALDO

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Genevieve. Although I have not seen nor spoken with her in years, as I have not lived in the Cleveland area for decades, when my mother, Mary Khoury, told me of her passing, it brought back a flood of old memories from my childhood days of attending Mass and Lebanese functions at St. Maron Church and seeing her beautiful, smiling, and gentle face. The world has lost a gentle soul.
My heartfelt sympathy to all. Lila
