GEORGE O. DILLE age 86, beloved husband for 40 years of Jeanne (nee McHale); loving father of Matthew, Michelle Caviston (husband Paul), Freda Kay Hatala (husband Bob), and the late Fred Kenneth (wife Cathy); devoted grandfather of Jack, Blake, Christina, Patty, Joseph, and Beth; cherished son of the late Sherwood Dille and Helen Dille (nee Willhelm); dearest brother of Diantha Foreman, Sandra Davis (husband Frank), and the late Richard, Grant, Edward, and Robert; brother-in-law of the late Frank McHale.
George was born on May 12, 1936, in Mentor, Ohio. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. George was a hardworking man and truly enjoyed being at home working in his yard. On January 16, 2023, this quiet and reserved man passed away leaving those who loved him missing him dearly.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of George Friday, January 20, 2023, from 4-7 PM at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.).
A Celebration of Life Service will then be held at 7 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME.
Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory.
