JAMES RICHARD HINMAN age 56, beloved husband for 18 years of Susan (nee Hensley); loving step-father of Brittany Cox (husband Joshua); devoted grandfather of Cassidy; son of the late Houda Hinman; brother of Tamara Siler and John Hinman; dear friend of Phil Kashat.
Richard was born on December 21, 1964 in Jacksonville, NC. He married his beloved wife, Sue, on October 3, 2003, and together they enjoyed traveling to various places. He was full of knowledge and fluent in I.T. Richard enjoyed learning new things, whether it was from reading a book or reading something online. He also enjoyed gaming, especially playing World of War Craft on his PC. Richard had a knack for cooking. He would always make homemade pizzas, and really liked making and eating Lebanese and Thai foods. Although a very quiet and reserved man, Richard loved his cat Tux and his granddaughter. He always looked forward to visits from Cassidy, who had a way of making him laugh for hours. On November 24, 2021 Richard passed away. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Richard to the American Lung Association.
