It was with great sadness and shock that I received the news of Jack’s death from bridge friend Jim. I was packing for a trip to Washington DC the next day and was heartsick that I would miss Jack’s wake and funeral. I offer my sincere condolences to Lynn and her family on Jack’s sudden death. We will miss him at bridge, both for his keen bridge sense and unique outlook on life. What a positive person he was to be around. Truly an inspiration! Godspeed, Jack, and do hover a bit cause we will all miss you a lot! Love and prayers, Susan

Lynn, Words cannot express the deep sorrow that I feel for you and your family following the sudden death of your dear husband Jack last week. Since I was on my way out-of-town on Tuesday when Jim called, and thus unable to personally participate in Jack’s wake/funeral services, I pray that you and your family are steadfastly dealing with the difficult matters at hand, the void and the needs of life as it continues. Know that our eventual reunion in paradise with our loved ones is the greatest source of hope and consolation. My sincere condolence and love to you and your family,
Fondly, Susan
