
JOSEPH G. NAHRA age 85, beloved husband for 62 years of Najah (nee Hanna); loving father of Imad (wife Beth), Zahi (wife Bobbie Jo), Sanna Abouhassan (husband Joseph), Ziad (wife Karly), Richard (wife Alexis) and Joseph (wife Gina); devoted grandfather of Amie Matlock, Amanda Donaldson (husband Cole), Anthony, Michaella Keglovic (husband Spencer), Zachary, Bethany, Alexander, Andrew, Alexa, Hayden, William, Benjamin, Robert, Dominic and Jason and great-grandfather of Caden, Ethan and Evelyn; cherished son of the late Jerges and Wadad (nee Wakeem); dearest brother of Jackline Selwan (husband Jamil, deceased), Souheil (wife Najat), Antoine (wife Maggie), Fady (wife Therese) and the late Fouad (wife Souad) and Amale Nahra; dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many.
Joseph came to the US in 1970 where he resided in Cleveland Hts from 1970 – 1976 before settling in Lyndhurst. He attended school in Lebanon and was a carpenter and cabinet maker where he was the owner/operator of his own business. He enjoyed playing cards, golfing, fishing and gardening. Joseph was a very hard-working man that was devoted to his family. He was also social with a great sense of humor and very intelligent, as he spoke 6 different languages. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Family and friends are requested to meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 5, 2023, at St. Maron Catholic Church, 1245 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland at 10:30 AM. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joseph at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 4 – 8 PM with Prayers of Incense at 4:30 pm.
