
KATHLEEN L. “KATHY” MARESCO (nee Longfield) age 72, beloved wife for 32 years of Thomas; cherished daughter of the late Charles and Constance (nee Berkholtz) Longfield; treasured sister-in-law of Patricia, Kathy and Kevin Maresco; dear aunt of Erin, Shaelin (fiancé AJ), Teagan, Quin, Sadie, Sara and Chris Maresco. Survived by her feline companions Claymore, Thunder and Gunner.
Kathy was born on September 18, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on May 4, 2020. She was a resident of Bainbridge since 1992, formerly residing in Shaker Heights. Kathy graduated from Laurel High School in 1966 and earned her bachelor’s degree from Centenary College for Women in New Jersey. She worked for the Cleveland Clinic for 35 years as a medical technologist. Kathy enjoyed snow skiing and was a member of several ski clubs. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. She adored her cats, and they were like her children. Kathy will be remembered most as a caring, loving, social and hardworking woman with a bright intellect. She will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Thursday, May 7, 2020 at 12 Noon at THE FUNERAL HOME, with live streaming of service available (see Funeral Home website guestbook). Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Kathy at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY MORNING 11-12 NOON.
