
KATHRYN M. GULICH (nee Sylvester) age 78, loving mother of Amy Deaver (husband Greg), Deedra Simmons and the late Scott Simmons; devoted grandmother of Gavin and Austin Deaver, Nicholas Simmons, Jenna, Lexie, Victoria and Kira Voelker and great-grandmother of Nora; cherished daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (nee Petrello) Sylvester; dearest sister of Joseph DeSylvester (wife Christine).
Kathy was born on February 23, 1943 in Cleveland and passed away on July 31, 2021. She was a resident of Chardon for 10 years, formerly residing in Las Vegas and Cleveland. Kathy was a graduate of Brush High School and retired from Progressive Insurance. She loved sewing, crafts, visiting her grandchildren and friends, and especially decorating for and celebrating Christmas. Kathy will be remembered most as a caring and compassionate woman who was always smiling. She will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 5, 2021 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Kathy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
