Paul Petrick
Hi Cyndi. This is Paul Petrick, I met you on a few occasions a long time ago when Leo was my boss at Flexsys. I’m also the son of Edward Petrick who played with Leo on their championship softball team at St. Barnabas I believe. When Leo became my boss at Flexsys he knew my last name was familiar and asked if I was related to an Edward. I said he’s my dad and he said I think I was on his softball team. When I told my dad he produced a softball from the championship team that all the team had signed including Leo. I brought the ball into work to show Leo. We all got quite a kick out of that small world story and I always really liked Leo, but unfortunately lost contact with him when we both left Flexsys. My dad recently passed away and I have the softball now and it made me google Leo’s name and unfortunately I found the obituary when I was hoping to find a Facebook page where I could contact him. Leo was still so young. I was having a really sad day and unfortunately this just made it sadder. I doubt you will get this message since Leo’s passing was a while ago now, but I hope that somehow you get this. If so, my email is paulpetrick@hotmail.com. If you didn’t mind sending me a quick email to tell me you got this that would somehow be somewhat cathartic at this time. My condolences for Leo even though it was so long ago. I wish I could have been there at the time to express my sympathy and to tell you how much I liked Leo and what a great guy he was to all that knew him in our workplace.
