LIUZZO (nee Mazzone) age 82, beloved mother of Paul (wife Sue), Gina Dougherty (husband Gene) and Tony (wife Debbie); devoted Nana of Jack Dougherty (wife Sheila), Rhiannon and Shannon Liuzzo, Mark Torok (wife Michelle), Adam Torok (wife Marcie), and Maureen Stump (husband Dave) and Great-Nana of Calissa, Makenna, Madison, Savannah and Jack Dougherty and Phebe Liuzzo; cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (nee Riola) Mazzone; dearest sister of the late Nick (wife Millie, deceased), Joe (wife Virgie, deceased), Tony (wife Theresa, deceased) and Biagio Mazzone (wife Nancy, deceased), Rosie Cipolla (husband Pete, deceased), Mary Curva (husband Jim, deceased) and Charles (wife June); dear aunt and great-aunt of many. Loretta was born on January 24, 1937 in Cleveland and passed away on May 29, 2019. She was a resident of Twinsburg for 18 years, previously Maple Heights. Loretta was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where she participated in adoration. She graduated from Hoban Dominican High School in 1955 and proudly worked as a sales representative for cosmetics at JCPenney. Loretta was witty with a good sense of humor. She was devoted to her family, faith, and to our Lord. Loretta will be dearly missed by all.
Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relatives and friends are requested to meet for Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 9080 Shepard Rd., Macedonia, OH 44056. Burial following at All Saints Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Loretta at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD.
