LYNN HELAINE ANDERSON age 60, cherished daughter of Joan (nee Kenney) and the late David Anderson; dearest sister of Jeannine Anderson-Spain (husband Michael Rosciszewski) and the late Lori and Rick Anderson; dear aunt of Lindsay and Jenna Spain and great-aunt of Mia Brown.
Lynn was born on February 3, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on June 21, 2020 a resident of University Heights for 15 years. Upon her graduation from Villa Angela in 1978, she went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from John Carroll University, and her master’s in Labor Relations & Human Resources from Cleveland State University. Lynn worked as Director of Benefits and Compensation for 10 years for STERIS and previously at Cleveland State University for 11 years. When Lynn was able to take a moment away from her studies and work, she relished traveling. Her adventures included backpacking through Europe in her youth and a recent trip to Italy to marvel at the beautiful scenery, artworks and architecture. She also shared with us her delight with a recent trip to the Netherlands where she was fascinated by the simplicity and functionality of Scandinavian designs. Lynn took pleasure in the arts, and whether she was attending an orchestra concert, theater or observing pieces in the art museum, she was content. Lynn was an avid movie-goer and also enjoyed music of varying types be it Classical or Classic Rock. She took pride in working in her yard for the simple satisfaction of stepping back to see the beauty resulting from her nurturing. However, it was her nieces Lindsay and Jenna, and great niece Mia, that gave her the most enjoyment in life. Lynn was independent, strong, driven, compassionate, and generous. She will be dearly missed.
Contributions may be made in memory of Lynn to Playhouse Square, Attn: Development Department, 1501 Euclid Ave., Suite 200, Cleveland, OH 44115. Private Services will be held at a later date. ARRANGEMENTS BY THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD.

I just found out today about Lynn’s passing. So very sorry to hear this. I hired Lynn at STERIS and so knew her very well. We knew she would excel at her work (which she did) and that is why we hired her. She was the best. Always talked about her nieces and always looked forward to seeing them. Just very sorry to hear this news about Lynn. Bill Aamoth

I knew Lynn when she worked at Cleveland State University.
My sympathy to the family on your loss. Lynn embraced life to the fullest, was a very kind person, and was always smiling. It was a pleasure to have her as a colleague. May the memories of her kindness and her well-lived life comfort you in this time of sorrow.

My deepest sympathy to Lynn’s family over the loss of Lynn. I am deeply saddened over just hearing of Lynn’s passing. She was an amazing former co-worker, colleague, friend and person. She was both passionate and excellent at her professional and her personal life always giving to others than herself. She loved her family and spoke often of them, of her devoted and loving parents, sister and nieces. She loved to travel and shared some of her stories of her travels to CA wine country, Hawaii and other travels. She was authentic and compassionate, both traits that I admired most about Lynn. I enjoyed meeting for the first time and working with her at STERIS and we stayed in touch afterwards. Lynn will be missed. Again, my deepest sympathies to her family over the loss of your daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

I am so sorry to hear about Lynn’s passing. Lynn and I worked together in HR at EnvisionRx. She had sadly just lost her father and became ill unexpectedly. I know she has now joined her father in heaven. She is no longer in pain. My deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues. She will always be remembered for her love of travel and the arts. Prayers to her and her family at this time.
