Condolence from Sonja Graley on May 10th, 2022 7:11 pm

Mario was best known for revolutionizing the salon industry and his innovative approach to hair fashion.
A wonderful hair designer,
salon and spa owner; as well as a great teacher and mentor…
He was warm, loving and hilarious!
I started my career as a hair designer at Mario’s International, I was fortunate to be one of his apprentices…
Thank you for your wisdom and teachings…
Although I mourn his passing, I am celebrating his life. Life is what he celebrated- with every client and every special hair design he created…
His legacy will be the beauty, the art and the opportunity he passed on to hair designers past, present and future.
Extending my heartfelt condolences to his family. With love, Sonja.

Oh our dear friend, with our eyes filled with tears and grief in our hearts how can we ever praise you enough for all the good that we have seen you project in the last 60 years. Working with you was not a job, it was an incredible artistic creative experience. Learning from the master stylist we all loved and adored. He sent so many of his artistic team to Italy, Paris, Switzerland and Germany with his wife escorting us as our educational coach and guide.
We began our journey with you as teenagers and now in our golden years we reminisce “The best years of our lives”.
We are proud to say “We work at Marios” Love, and God Bless

Mario did my hair for my prom in 1964. I absolutely adored him then and all his days after. When he came to Aurora as I did, I was thrilled. Thank you dear Mario for being a friend and gentle giant to so many of us.
God Bless his family and thank you for sharing him with all of us.
