MARY A. INTIHAR (nee Strogin), age 92; beloved wife of the late William L.; loving mother of William, Raymond (wife Kathleen, deceased), Donald, James (wife Kathryn, deceased) and Therese Grossman (husband Thomas); devoted grandmother of Katie Sturgill, Kimberly Vatty, Dana Risinger, Erin Shelton, Jennifer Zarack, Brandon and Allen Intihar, Matthew, Shannon, Tracey and the late Eric Grossman and great-grandmother of 5. Dearest sister of Agnes Persell, Dorothy Keeley and the late Joseph and Louis Strogin and Pauline Poplawski; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Mary was a resident of Lyndhurst and member of St. Clare Catholic Church for 50 years before moving to Walton Hills just six months ago. She loved watching hockey games as well as football and baseball and in general was a sports fan. As a homemaker, her children and grandchildren gave her the most enjoyment in life and they will remember her as a strong, feisty and determined woman who always had a strong opinion and you always knew what was on her mind.
Contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to ADHD Research or to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at St.Clare Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on THURSDAY from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
