My mom will miss her very much. My mom only knew her for a short time at the nursing home where they shared meals together at the same table. My mom was lost when she was moved from one side to the other and Mary made the transition more tolerable. I will also miss seeing her when I would take my mom to her spot at the table. I thank God that she was able to touch my moms heart and make her feel welcome in a place she was uncomfortable in. I know that when my mom goes to heaven Mary will be there again for her.

Mary’s nickname, among some of the residents, was Mary Lamborghini. Mary was known for always wearing her jacket and ball cap, because she was cold and took off her jacket only when it was above 88 degrees! She could always be found on the porch enjoying getting some fresh air. Mary was one of the wheelchair dancers known as the Mentor Ridgettes. Mary played a word game called Wordle. Mary attended the Catholic church services including the Rosary, where she was known for falling asleep. She used her hands to express herself. Guess which finger she used most? ; ) She loved her family. She loved her cat Muffy. She was a woman with an amazing personality that will be missed. We send sympathy and condolences to her family and extended family.
