
MARYLOU MIOZZI (nee Barklow) died peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends on April 2, 2023. Faithful disciple of Jesus. Loving and devoted wife of Henry Sr., cherished mother of Marybeth Bryson, James (wife Linda), Judith Hartle (husband Pat), and Henry (wife Marianne). Proud mommom of Shawn Hartle (wife Erica), Chris Hartle (wife Stephanie), Jessica Greene (husband Zach), Anthony Miozzi, Kortney Miozzi, Elizabeth Bryson, Maria Miozzi, David Bryson, Kayley Miozzi, and Matthew Hartle, and greatmommom of Chelsea, Chase and Ryan. Loving sister of James Barklow. Sister-in-law to Carmen Miozzi (wife Sally, both deceased), Bunny Schaffer(deceased), Rita Spagnolia (husband Jim, deceased) and the late Norman Miozzi (wife Connie). Cherished friend of many. Lovingly known as Mommom MaryLou to all of the children who were blessed to be a part of her life, especially Carrie Skaggs and Kelly Ferrel.
Marylou was born on August 4, 1938, to the late James and Louise (nee Petrarca) Barklow in Cleveland. She was married to her loving husband, Henry Sr., for 65 years where they resided in Lyndhurst for 57 years. MaryLou attended Beaumont High school and graduated in 1956. MaryLou was dedicated to her faith and belonged to St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church. She devoted her life to her friends and family. People would describe her as a faithfully devoted loving, caring, nurturing, giving, protective and fierce woman with a great sense of humor. She dedicated her life as a domestic engineer. She opened her home and her heart to many, loving everyone and anyone who walked through the doors. MaryLou will be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of MaryLou to Hospice of Western Reserve 17876 St Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relatives and Friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10:15 AM at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church 5384 Wilson Mills Rd, Highland Heights, OH 44143.
