Melissa was a wonderful person, and in my career at EY she has been my biggest support from Day 1. She was there to listen and advice whenever needed. She would just say – “why don’t we talk over the phone, and let me hear you out”. That’s the kind of person she was to me and many others in the firm. She was vibrant and so cheerful and her personality would boost morale for the entire team at every event. She must have been in immense pain, but i will it would have been easier for her for the person she was. Melissa will never be forgotten and her memories will live forever in our hearts. Deepest condolences for this loss and I am sure she will be our thoughts and prayers always.

I had the pleasure of working indirectly with Melissa about 10 years back at EY. She was vibrant, kind-hearted and her friendship was valued. That smile everyone talks about – infectious! My heart aches for your entire family. I hope and pray that in time, the beautiful memories you shared will bring you some sense of comfort, even in the unfairness of losing her way too soon. She will always be in your hearts and minds. She made EY a better place. Peace to an angel – everything about her will truly be missed…

    With love,

  23. Ronke Oyerinde :

Melissa, I heard of your sudden death on Thursday July 12, 2018 @ exactly 11:45am, and it was a shock to me, because as my HR Consultant, I have spoken to you on the phone on several occasions last year when I joined the firm – what was amazing to me was that, in your sickness (which I was not aware of), you continued to provide exceptional services. I did not get the chance to meet with you in person, but I acknowledged that you are a “Great Gem”. I love you but God loves you more! My prayers are with your family especially Tom, Christopher and Lynn. May the Almighty God give them the Grace and Strength to carry on. Amen.
Rest in the Bosom of God!
