MICHAEL RONALD WALLO, aged 57 years, beloved husband for 36 years to Beth (nee Fairman), dear father of Christopher (partner Kim Van Sickle), Jackie and Megan, devoted son of George and Mary Ann (nee Hart), cherished brother of Sue, Kathleen Rastatter (husband Tom), Margaret Stevenson (husband Greg) and Jenny Schladt (husband Ken), fond uncle to many.
Michael resided in Mayfield for his entire life and was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for 44 years. Mike graduated from Mayfield High School and earned an Associates of Arts degree from Lakeland Community College. He worked for Javich, Block & Rathbone as a docket clerk. Mike loved watching the Indians, baseball, and collecting sports memorabilia. He enjoyed listening to the Beatles and other classic rock.
In his free time Mike enjoyed the challenge of trivia, reading, watching Cleveland sports and was a movie buff. Spending time with his family is what gave Mike the most enjoyment in life, especially when he hosted Holiday dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Mike will be remembered most as a loving and caring best friend and a devoted father, husband and son.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mike suggested to The Bone Marrow Foundation, 515 Madison Ave., Suite 1130, New York, NY 10022.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes and his devotion above all else to his family, the family held a private Catholic burial service with interment in Western Reserve Memorial Garden. Arrangements by DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME.
