Nancy Kathleen Nagy (AKA Sally), age 77, passed away peacefully at her home April 8, 2022. Nancy was born to Ruth and Clark Brown. Beloved wife of George Nagy of 56 years. George will tell you 25 of them were happy as he left Nancy in Hawaii for their 25th anniversary and picked her up on their 50th. Nancy was the mother of two beautiful daughters: Lisa Wojtylak (Mike) and Kathy Miles (Mike). Anyone who knew her knew that we called her Sally more than Mom. And trust us there are many Sally’s in this family. She was a dear sister to Rich Brown (Mary) whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. She was a cherished grandmother to Noah Miles who she loved to the moon and back. She talked about him endlessly to anyone who would listen and enjoyed watching him play sports or simply showing pictures to anyone who would look. She was his biggest fan and loved his phones calls, especially their last.
Aunt Nancy loved her nieces (Karen, Linda, Jennifer and Carrie) and nephew (Dan). She loved attending holidays and family get togethers both with family and friends. Nancy met the love of her life at the community pool. Their first date consisted of watching “Psycho” and going to the ice cream parlor. Besides loving her family, she worked as a key punch operator and then in the dental field for many years. Nancy (Sally) was so many things to so many people. She never met a person she didn’t like and had a way of making friends with anyone. She had a love for flowers, yard work and her pond. She was very proud when her yard was included on the annual garden walk. Nancy loved to dance, especially at weddings or at special events. She went to Vegas many years and enjoyed the Flamingo the best. She always had a friendly smile and loved to hug others. It was important to her faith when she converted to Catholicism. She enjoyed bowling and will be remembered for being a fabulous exercise instructor and a forever Girl Scout leader (The cookie delivery was always a good story). Nancy loved all her pets and enjoyed walking at the metro parks or just around the block with them. Elvis Presley songs always were played on Sunday mornings.
She was dearly loved by all her knew her. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to HOSPICE of the Western Reserve, P.O. Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192. Please meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 9:30 AM. Interment following in All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Nancy at the DeJohn Flynn Mylott Funeral Home of South Euclid, 4600 Mayfield Rd. (Just east of Green Road) Tuesday, April 19 from 4 to 8 PM.

Roberta L. Trutko
We met Nancy when she was the receptionist/administrator at Dr. Rabal’s dental office. She was very caring & personable, while always keeping a professional attitude. We were saddened when she retired, yet knew that she would have a good, well-deserved, retirement. Our condolences to her family. During this Easter season, take heart in knowing that Nancy now lives with the other angels in heaven.
Sincerely,
The Trutko Family
