Beverly Ann Santon (nee Sabetta) age 81, beloved wife for 61 years of the late Michael Santon ; loving mother of Carla Rossi (husband John Leibnitzer), Denise Lester (husband Michael) and the late twin baby boys Michael and Charles; devoted grandmother of Nicki Rossi, Michael Rossi, Samantha Phillips (husband Leon), Vincent Lester and Gina Leibnitzer and great-grandmother of Charlee Phillips; cherished daughter of the late Pompilio and Anna Violet (nee Cannavino) Sabetta; dearest sister of Tony Sabetta (wife Karen) and Patsy Sabetta; fond sister-in law of the late James and Doris Santon and Charles Santon; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
Beverly was born July 27, 1940 and died peacefully surrounded by her family on January 29th, 2022. Beverly was born in Cleveland and grew up in Little Italy. She lived in Willoughby Hills for the last thirty-one years.
Beverly married the love of her life Mike in 1960 and died of a broken heart after her husband of sixty- one years died this past November. She graduated from East High High School in 1958. Beverly was also a member of St. Noel’s parish. She worked as an administrative assistant for Prudential Insurance Company and retired from there after twenty-five years of service.
Beverly loved bowling, playing cards and fishing. She also enjoyed watching sports on television. She was a tortured Cleveland Brown’s fan and a fan of the Ohio State University. She enjoyed Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and was known to do the jitterbug.
Beverly was a hard worker and loved to be busy. She was loyal, kind, strong willed and compassionate. She was dedicated to her faith and her family. She adored her grandchildren and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that she lived for them. She will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Beverly to the Choroideremia Treatment Fund. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, February 11, 2022 at St. Noel Catholic Church 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44094 at 10 AM. Burial following at Whitehaven Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Beverly at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY FEBRUARY 10, 3-7 PM.
