ADELMO “DEL” ANTONELLI age 83, beloved husband for 56 years of Judy (nee Masco); loving father of Anoinette “Toni” Schoonover (husband Thomas) and Mark (wife Michelle); devoted grandfather of Justin and Jordan Frank; cherished son of the late Domenic and Silvia (nee DiVincenzo); dearest brother of Mary Manocchio (husband Michael deceased), Elda Iammarino (husband Donald deceased), Tullio and the late John (wife Dora); fond brother-in-law of Sandra Antonelli and the late John Masco and Rita Henretta; dear uncle, great  uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Del was born on June 20, 1940, and passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023. Del immigrated to the United States at the age of 14 in 1954. He met and married his beloved Judy 56 years ago, they had 2 beautiful children and resided in Willougby Hills. Del worked in the landscaping industry for 69 years and he owned his own landscape business. He was an avid bowler even bowling a 300 game in 2000. He enjoyed Indy car racing, dancing and playing corn hole. He was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavs and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Del was a simple and selfless man. His family will always remember him for the generous, kind and giving person he was. He never knew a stranger, had a great sense of humor and loved to joke. Del was a devoted husband, father, papa and friend. He was devoted to his faith, and he will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Del to Catholic Charities at www.catholiccharitiesusa.org. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 5, 2024, at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills at 11 AM. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Del following the Mass at St. Noel’s Banquet Center. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS.
