ANGELARAE Di FRANCO (nee Di Giacinto) age 84, beloved wife for 62 years to the late Frank L.; loving mother of Denise Marie Hanuseck (husband Mark); cherished daughter of the late Valentine and Theresa (nee Serpe) Di Giacinto; dearest sister of Annette Horbacz (husband Richard) and Valentine Di Giacinto (wife Rosemarie); dear aunt and great-aunt; survived by her canine companion Missy and her granddog Astro.

Angelarae was born on November 24, 1938, and passed away on September 7, 2023. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved to Cleveland in 1993 for her job with the Red Cross. She and her beloved husband Frank settled in Lyndhurst with their daughter Denise. She worked until her retirement in 2017 as a bookkeeper and payroll specialist for the Red Cross. She was a long-time member of St. Clare Catholic Church.

Angelarae liked to crochet, sew, travel and play the slot machines in Atlantic City. She was fond of music by Cher and Connie Francis. She loved her pasta and sauce but called it macaroni and gravy, loved crab and her many meals at Pickle Bill’s. Her family describes her as feisty, strong willed, hardworking, kind, loving and devoted to her family who was her greatest source of enjoyment in life.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 10 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church, 5659 Mayfield Rd., Lyndhurst. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 1:45PM. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Angelarae at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
