Audrey B. Pappalardo

AUDREY B. PAPPALARDO (nee Bremner) age 95, beloved wife of the late Anthony; loving mother of Cathy West (husband Mark, deceased) Anthony M. Pappalardo and the late Patricia Keesler (husband Ernie); devoted grandmother of Audrey Clieves (husband Stefan, deceased), Richard Pappalardo (wife Danielle), Jacqueline and Jazmin Pappalardo and great-grandmother of 11; cherished daughter of the late George and Eva (nee Ireland) Bremner; dearest sister of the late Charles Bremner and her “adopted brother” Deacon John Grazia;  dear aunt and great-aunt of many; survived by her four-legged friends Ruby and Moose II.

Audrey lived in Kirtland for over 55 years, prior to that she lived in Eastlake. She attended Collinwood High School and has been a member of Divine Word Catholic Church since it first opened. She was the past president of Club Fraterno diMilitello Rosmarino and also volunteered many years at the election polls. Audrey and her husband owned and operated Pappy’s Custard in Chardon, which is now King Kone. She loved gardening, doing word puzzles, golfing with her husband, listening to Big Band music, taking vacations, going to the casinos and especially just spending time with her family. Audrey loved to talk to others and was a huge long-time Kirtland Hornets and Cleveland Indians fan. Since her birthday was on St. Patrick’s Day, she would say that was one of her favorite family traditions. Although she was a “tough cookie” Audrey was very loving and was liked by everyone that knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, November 4, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Road, Kirtland. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
