MATONEY (nee McKown), age 55, died peacefully Sept. 6, 2008 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma; beloved wife for 28 years to Michael E.; loving mother of Sarah Elizabeth DeJohn (husband Christopher), Jessica Leigh Matoney and Alexandra McKown Matoney; cherished daughter of Mary A. (nee Smeraldi) and the late Leland A. McKown; treasured daughter-in-law of Robert and the late Sally (nee Evans) Matoney; dearest sister of Kathleen DeJohn (partner Cheryl Neal) and Patricia DeJohn (husband Ross Jr.); dear sister-in-law of Rev. Mr. Robert Jr. (wife Louise), Sue Cicero (husband Joe), Peggy Grabfelder, Eileen Matteo (husband Nick), Sally Tibjash (husband Jeff) and Molly Gessler (husband Randy); dear niece, cousin, aunt, great-aunt and friend of many; former teacher at Eastlake-North High School and Head Start.
