Beatrice Restifo

BEATRICE J. RESTIFO (nee Jensen) age 97, beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Michael Restifo (wife Kjersten Mills) and the late Claudia; devoted grandmother of Jason, Stephanie and Jordan; cherished daughter of the late Jacob and Bessie (nee Scott) Jensen.

My mother was the only child of Jake and Bessie Jensen.  As a child she loved to hunt and horseback ride on her pony Spotty.   She was fond of music and was a singer with a big band in her early years. She met my father while working as a secretary for the Army. They married and lived all over the world while he spent a long career in the Air Force. She was an avid golfer and was the only member of the house with trophy’s from various competitions. Bridge was also a great hobby for my father and her. She was a kind and thoughtful mother and loyal wife.

Contributions may be made in Beatrice’s memory in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer’s Association 23215 Commerce Park #300, Beachwood, OH 44122.   Prayers of Christian Burial Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 1 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Entombment following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Beatrice at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 11 AM – 1 PM.
