Bill Stevic. 11/7/31-10/1/23

In the loving memory of a man whose life epitomized the essence of being a true gentleman, William Ralph Stevic “Bill” graced this world with abundant compassion, respect, and unwavering devotion to his family. Bill was a Korean War veteran who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His 67-year marital journey alongside his beloved wife, Joann Stevic is a testament to enduring love, unwavering companionship, and the profound depth of their bond. It was the dance floor where Bill and Joann first met, and as phenomenal dancers, it is where they found joy.

While Bill’s professional endeavors thrived in manufacturing and business, his “hobbies” included designing and building homes with an exceptional woodworking talent. He loved the smell of sawdust! In his retirement, he built model ships for his children and grandchildren to remember him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and David Stevic, and sister Dorothy Briggs.

Bill leaves behind his beloved wife, Joann Stevic (nee Serian). His children Diane (Skip) Freede, Lori (Jay) Stevic-Rust and Leanne (Jim) Edmonds. His grandchildren Jennifer (Trevor) Blosser, Stephanie (Doug) Bohardt, Nicole (Kyle Williamson) Freede, Sarah (Dillon) Rust-Overman, Katie (Jake Scott) Rust, Alexandra Edmonds and Dominique (Neal Billig)Edmonds.

His sweet great grandchildren; Xzavier, Lennox and Nixon Blosser; Chloe, Amelia and Tyler Bohardt and Isla Overman.

His brothers Jack Stevic and Ken Stevic, and his favorite shared lapdog, Benji.

He was gifted through marriage with the following grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Heather and Buddy Nemcheck and children Caleb, Landon, Rylee and Talon. Karla and Dan Seery and children Ada and Dante, Ryan and Brittany Freede and their twins Logan and Luke. Mark Edmonds (deceased) and Christian Garcia. Wendy and Doug Mocker. Joshua Edmonds and his children Colin, Ethan and Pixie.

We will miss his smile, his whistle that always announced his arrival, his enormous heart, and we will carry with us his gift of selfless giving.
