Boutros Douaihi

BOUTROS DOUAIHI age 88, beloved husband for 63 years of Yasmine (nee Khoury); loving father of Nazha Daher (husband Joseph), Viviane Hajjar (husband Bechara deceased), Antonios (wife Patricia), Joseph and the late Mansour; devoted grandfather of James, Michael and Joseph Daher, Peter, Elio, Emmanuel and the late Toufic Hajjar, Anthony, Andrew, Yasmeen, Vincent, Jason, Tristan, Elie and twins Noah and Aidan Douaihi; cherished son of the late Mansour and Theresa (nee Mjalli); dearest brother of the late Nazha Antar, Sarkis, Hanna, Badoui, Michel and Simon; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. 

Born and educated in Lebanon, Boutros moved to the US in 1992 and set up residence in Cleveland.  When not hard at work, he greatly enjoyed gardening, hunting, and feeding the birds and neighborhood cats. He would often satisfy his love of nature by taking long walks in the park. Obtaining his US citizenship was a tremendously proud achievement.  Everyday life and special events with his family, however, is what brought the most joy in life for Boutros. This social and friendly soul passed away on May 28, 2024.  His family and friends will forever miss his loving personality and kind smile.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Boutros to Treasured Memories. 

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 7, 2024 at St. Maron Catholic Church, 1245 Carnegie Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio at 11AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Boutros AT THE CHURCH FRIDAY MORNING AT 10:30-11AM. Arrangements entrusted to DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS.
